The Sacramento Kings dropped their fourth game in a row to start the season Monday night against a tough Denver Nuggets team.
Despite the 101-94 loss, there were improvements over the previous three games in terms of defense, pace and energy, as well as a strong performance from Richaun Holmes (24 points, 13 rebounds and 2 blocks). Rebounds, another third quarter lull, shots not falling and a lack of execution down the stretch were deciding factors though.
Following the game, head coach Luke Walton and the players spoke about the positives and negatives.
