The Sacramento Kings defeated the Boston Celtics 100-99 Sunday afternoon.
The Kings defeated the now 10-2 Celtics after Marcus Smart barely missed a floating jump shot in the final seconds of the game, and thanks to an impressive defensive showing, execution in the final moments of the game and strong performances from various players, including Buddy Hield, who had 35 points, 6 rebounds, 2 assists and 4 steals.
With the win, the Kings are now 5-7 on the season, tied for ninth place in the Western Conference with the Oklahoma City Thunder.
