Kings at Wizards preview

Sorry I don’t have a clever title like Will usually does

I think Sunday afternoon games are the worst. The NBA, for me, is a sport that happens at night. Ideally games happen after my kids are in bed. I don’t want to subject them to Kings basketball and run the risk of turning them into Kings fans. What kind of father would I be? Luckily it gets dark at like 4 PM now, so while my kids won’t be asleep it will at least feel like night time at some point in the second quarter.

Let’s talk Kings basketball.

When: Sunday, November 24th, 3:00 PST

Where: Capitol One Arena, Washington DC

TV: NBCSCA

Radio: KHTK Sports 1140 AM

For Your Consideration

The Kings will one again be short handed. De’Aaron Fox, Marvin Bagley III, and Trevor Ariza will be out. Bogdan Bogdanovic is listed as Questionable and will likely becomes a game time decision. If Bogi can’t go, it could be another ugly one.

The Wizards enter the game with a frisky 5-8 record and the league’s highest scoring offense at 120.1 points per game. But they also have the second worse defensive rating in the league, only better than the Golden State Warriors. The Wizards can score, and they’ll let you score. If the Kings defense can slow the Wizards offense, the Kings will have the opportunity to win.

Final prediction: Kings 119, Wizards 102
