The second year for Ariza’s deal is also a partial guarantee.
Ariza, 34, played for both the Phoenix Suns and the Washington Wizards this past season and averaged 12.5 points, 4.7 rebounds and 3.7 assists on 39.9 percent shooting overall and 33.4 percent from three.
Ariza definitely had a down year playing for two really poor teams but throughout his 15 year career, he’s always been a solid defender and the Kings will definitely love his presence off the bench.
The Kings have re-signed Harrison Barnes, locked up Dewayne Dedmon and now bring on a solid veteran in Trevor Ariza that makes the bench even better.
