My wife and I recently decided to do a marathon of the Fast and the Furious film franchise. We skipped 2 Fast 2 Furious because my wife just wants to see Vin Diesel, and we skipped Tokyo Drift because it is Tokyo Drift, but otherwise we’ve been methodically moving through the franchise. Are the movies masterpiece theater? Of course not, but they know what they are and they deliver the entertainment I expect. And with that in mind, I’ll probably be watching The Fate of the Furious tonight instead of this Kings team that doesn’t know what they are and consistently failed to deliver the entertainment I expect.
Let’s talk Kings basketball!
When: Thursday, January 30th, 7:00 PST
Where: Staples Center
TV: NBCSCA
Radio: KHTK Sports 1140 AM
For Your Consideration
The Sacramento Kings receive no reprieve. Fresh off another pathetic 20 point loss, this time to the Oklahoma City Thunder, the Kings now travel south to face the Los Angeles Clippers. The Clippers boast the second best record in the West at 33-14. The Kings boast the third worst record in the West at 17-30. With 33 games remaining, there’s a serious discussion to be had about whether this team can even win 30 games this year.
Paul George is probable to play. No word yet on if Kawhi Leonard will play or sit. It likely doesn’t matter. The Kings will again be without Richaun Holmes (shoulder) and Marvin Bagley (boo boo on foot).
Final prediction: Kings 101 - Clippers 99
