Despite it not yet being 3 p.m. on the west coast, a report has already emerged that Bogdan Bogdanovic will be signing a restricted free agent offer sheet with the Atlanta Hawks.

The Hawks have upwards of $40 million in cap space, per Spotrac, so they can offer Bogdanovic up to a maximum contract, though the salary has not been revealed. It will be interesting to see if the number is big enough that the Kings consider not matching altogether, or if the Sacramento front office will still try to extract an asset — or more — from Atlanta. If the Kings were interested in Donte DiVincenzo, a player like De’Andre Hunter, Cam Reddish, or Kevin Huerter might move the needle in a sign-and-trade.
On The Jump on ESPN earlier today, Vince Carter said that the Hawks are confident they can get at least two of the four biggest free agents on the market, among them Bogdanovic, so he wouldn’t be going to Atlanta alone.
Vince Carter on The Jump just whipped out his phone and said the Hawks are pursuing — and are confident they can get at least two of them — Rondo, Gallinari, Harris and Bogdanovic.
