Hey all, I won’t take up too much of your time.
First off, it has been an honor to cover the Sacramento Kings on this site. I have been able to write about and attend some pretty amazing things during my time here, and I met a lot of great people, from ARCO Arena, to Power Balance Pavilion, (am I missing one?), to Sleep Train Arena to the Golden 1 Center.
Thank you to Tom Ziller for bringing me on as the first credentialed member of Str.
Thanks to Akis and Greg for running the site so well following Tom’s departure. Thank you to everyone on the staff for delivering such great coverage (and humor).
And thank you to all of you readers who have built such a great community of Kings fans. You all make this site what it is, so thank you for reading and being so passionate (and for the humor).
Str played a big part in the fans’ fight to keep the Kings in Sacramento, so I will be forever grateful for this site and all of you.
I hope you visit The Kings Herald and read all of our work there when we launch next month.
Secondly, my thoughts are with anyone being affected health-wise, from a mental health standpoint, financially, or any other way by the Coronavirus. These are trying times, and it is important we stick together and take the precautionary actions necessary to ensure the health of ourselves and those around us. We all must take this very seriously.
Thank you to the health care workers (heroes) who are on the frontlines right now doing everything they can to take care of those infected with the coronavirus and trying to prevent it from spreading.
Below are some links that I think are valuable, though I am sure there are many more. If you have more, please post them in the comments.
