The Sacramento Kings will resume their preseason on Wednesday night with a game on the road against the Los Angeles Clippers.

The Kings are coming off a 117-106 win against the Phoenix Suns where much of the Kings roster looked solid when on the court. The Suns were of course without their two best players, Devin Booker and Chris Paul so it’s a game performance you want to take with a grain of salt, but nonetheless, it was still an encouraging performance.

Harrison Barnes led the way for the Kings with 18 points on 7 of 12 shooting for, with guys like Davion Mitchell and Marvin Bagley III also having strong performances against the Suns.

It will be interesting to see what Luke Walton does as far as starting lineups go. Walton said during training camp that the team would be experimenting a bit with lineups so it it will be interesting to see if he sticks with Monday’s lineup of De’Aaron Fox, Tyrese Haliburton, Barnes, Bagley, and Richaun Holmes or if he tweaks it.

For whatever reason, even in the year 2021 certain preseason games aren’t televised and Wednesday’s contest against the Clippers happens to be one of them unfortunately. The only preseason game televised will be the final one, a contest on Oct. 14 in Sacramento against the Los Angeles Lakers.
