The Sacramento Kings will play the first of back-to-back games against the Oklahoma City Thunder tonight at the Golden 1 Center.

The Kings are coming off a disappointing loss to the San Antonio Spurs that basically ended any hope of getting into a play-in position. Sacramento sits three games behind San Antonio for the No. 10 seed in the Western Conference with just five games remaining on the schedule.

The Kings will be shorthanded for this one. Harrison Barnes is dealing with an abductor injury while big man Hassan Whiteside is in the league’s health and safety protocols. Neither veteran will play tonight, joining talented rookie Tyrese Haliburton on the sidelines. Buddy Hield will play, but is dealing with an ankle injury.

Oklahoma City is struggling mightily coming into this game. The Thunder are 1-20 over their previous 21 games and are coming off back-to-back blowout losses to the Golden State Warriors.
